The South Course by Coore & Crenshaw
What an incredible introduction to golf in New Zealand and the Southern Hemisphere!
The course was only open a few weeks before playing it on the 1st & 2nd November 2022.
It is situated on a fantastic site with sweeping undulations allowing 16 holes with ocean views (of which 8 play along the coastline).
I will be looking forward to visiting it again when the North Course by Tom Doak opens in 2023.
It will be intriguing to see how the course has matured as it was a very fun course to play. It will also be interesting to see how the world rankings interpret the course and routing.
