CAPE KIDNAPPERS - Tom Doak Design
Perched high above Hawkes Bay is the world famous Cape Kidnappers, 500 ft above sea level infact.
The weather Gods were kind for our visit and it was a really strong test of golf. Large undulating greens and interesting movement on each hole.
Personally, the back 9 proved most memorable but in saying that, the whole round was enjoyable as was the experience from entering off the road and taking a lengthy drive uphill through the estate.
Tom Doak designed this unique routing in 2004 and it consistently ranks highly in all course listings. I can only imagine how tough it could be on a stormier day.
